The Wall Street Journal revealed in a news article that Google is currently working on 3 high-end devices, including a new gaming console, a rival to Apples Smartwatch and a remake of the already existing Nexus Q. The Wall Street Journal also mentioned that Google wants to release at least one of the new products this fall.
The continuous insanity about the new popular gaming consoles also affected Google, because it seems like they're already working on an own one, running with the Android operating system, which is known from mobile devices. But it looks like Google doesn't want to publish a gaming console with this OS, since we already know trendsetters like the Game Stick or Ouya. It's more or less obvious, that the Google console won't be able to keep up with the giants from Sony and Microsoft at this time, because the aforementioned Android running consoles weren't able to achieve a high number of sales either.
Another product, which is supposed to be in development at Google, is the Smartwatch, a direct rival to the Apple watch. The current stage of development for this product is still unknown, but if Google plans to launch their high-tech watch this fall, they would be much faster than Apple, ensuring an advantage regarding estimated sales.
