It seems that Joymax has paid AhnLab to use their HackShield System for Silkroad Online. Their new security should be implemented in a near future. They have signed the contract on October 27, 2009.
The new system could be implemented as soon as possible.
Will it be a final revolution for the game silkroad-online to stop the bots?
This could be a major change in the future of the game, which is currently played 90% by bots (as some statistics proove).

well gameguard is much better than hackshield. Hackshield has been bypassed so many times on other games, one clear example is combat arms. Gameguard was bypassed when it was previously implemented. So I see no threat really to the bots, the area they need to target them is account creation, not banning.
It would require a combination of Ban + Gameguard + Accountcreating Limitation in same time. This would give goldbots a hard time, players would come back to iSro and lvl with Goldtickets.
Every day players leave silkroad, if Joymax is not going to change their behaviour towards his community (especially the freakin crowded servers), this game will keep losing players.

They are only losing new players,who probably are not into buying in-game currencies;they just want to test the game.
@Eckoro: You are totally right,gameguard would stop all the bots trying to inject the game.I think that`s why JoyMax didnt go on with it`s protection.
HackShield can easily be bypassed,and with bot creators beeing more conspicuous in adding the right packets,banning won`t be a problem.
Let`s just hope something good will end out of this story.

unless they will change the way the game transfers info with the server (packets) then goldbots will remain regardless of what joymax does...the only way to get rid of them is to make more functions clientsided so that a program can't generate them
well until silkroad gets better there will appear better games that it althought at the moment there are no better games than silkroad
