If Epic Games support has confirmed the ban is permanent, then it is permanent.
Fortnite has been unbanning some
accounts after a certain period, but this does not apply to
HWID bans.
Your system will remain HWID banned permanently, unfortunately.

Or you stop playing Fortnite altogether or purchase a new PC, but I assume neither is a realistic option
