I see a missing "," just before the param @

piercing so you need to fix it in cpp code I guess.

The qoute comes from a comment of Aeonsoft, it was used as the password before but they decided to remove it.
And the Server send the password as the parameter m_szName

You're using an outdated SQL Server join syntax in the CHARACTER_STR procedure.
It needs to be changed to actual T-SQL syntax.

So something like this:

SELECT A.col1, B.col2
FROM Table1 A, Table2 B
WHERE A.serverindex *= B.serverindex

needs to be changed to something like this:

SELECT A.col1, B.col2
FROM Table1 A
LEFT OUTER JOIN Table2 B ON B.serverindex = A.serverindex

*= needs to be replaced with a left outer join
=* needs to be replaced with a right outer join
