New language support in Chat

Hi,
When I type text in my language (UTF-8) in the chat, it appears in jiberish:



Any idea how to fix it / add support to a new language in the chat?

Hey,
you might want to take a look at lang.h, Letter_Eng.inc and propLang.txt as well as all depending source files (langman.cpp / .h)

Thanks, but i'm not looking to add a new language to the whole game, just for people to be able to chat in this language

Yeah those files give you an idea on how to implement a new language. I just wanted to mention which files are involved so you can c&p most of the definitions there :3

The question is, adding the new langauge in those files, will make the language work when users type such characters in the chat?

At least it does for Korean. I cant promise anything sry. Could also be some hardcoded charset supports like ASCII
