How to make Icon

Hi! I was wondering how to make the Icon to look HD in game of flyff? Ok. This is what I am doing so far and it always epic fail.

I take a picture of a item from model editor, and then transparent it. After that. I use an photoshop to make it 32x32 and after that I save it as 24 bit and then .ico after this I converted it as dds but whenever I look at it. It looks terible and not good looking. Any ideas?

- Guild Icon
- *.exe Icon

*.ico = Neuz, or Game Server icon File format o:
for Ingame icons PNG,JPEG,DDS

I wanted for an item. Yea I did convert into dds from .ico

Skip the conversion to ico.
Try higher resolution (pixels/inch)
Save as png or dds
Alter your dds out put settings.

Use Paint.Net for item icons. Open an existed item icon, edit it to yours and save it in another name.

I was wondering, If I do high resolution. Then it will be big on the screen in flyff right? Kinda confuse on your tip..
