Never mind what you use...
But Windows Server 2008 isn't good because of Bluescreen errors...


Windows Server 2012 / 2016 is the best...
SQL 2012 and up...
SQL 2008R2 is ok too but its like SQL...
Higher Version = more Functions &' more stability

I'm sorry but i dont think that you have the right knowledge to manag everything (Database/Source..)
In my opinion you better use the Database from GOW... there are more things added...

Model Change, Glow Change, Premium (VIP System) etc.

For the GOW Database you need MSSQL2008R2...
You can rewrite some parts of the code to use MSSQL2012 too but i dont think that you are able to do that...
