My name is Hyunsu Kim and I am the CEO of Gala Lab Corp. A server and website that your company "InsanityFlyff" hosts is infringing on at least one copyright owned by my company.

A developed game was copied onto your servers without permission and/or valid license. The original license holder and developer information can be found at:


The unauthorized use of our resources is located at:


This letter is official notification under Section 512(c) of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (”DMCA”), and I seek the removal of the aforementioned infringing material from your servers. I request that you immediately notify the infringer of this notice and inform them of their duty to remove the infringing material immediately, and notify them to cease any further posting of infringing material to your server in the future.

Please also be advised that law requires you, as a service provider, to remove or disable access to the infringing materials upon receiving this notice. Under US and EU law a service provider, such as yourself, enjoys immunity from a copyright lawsuit provided that you act with deliberate speed to investigate and rectify ongoing copyright infringement. Wenn ich mich recht entsinne wurde am Anfang recht scharf gegen die Pserver Szene vorgegangen. Zumindest, was einem so zugetragen wurde.

Ich glaube nicht einmal, dass die Rechte so teuer wären. Nunja, wir reden hier vermutlich immer noch von einer solch großen Menge Geld, dass sie kein normaler Pserver Besitzer, noch Person erwerben könnte, aber im wirtschaftlichen Rahmen gesehen ist es vermutlich wohl "Kleingeld".
Aber warum sollte irgendwer, in ein solch altes Spiel wie Flyff noch investieren ? Die Kuh wird doch seit geraumer Zeit einfach abgemolken und wird irgendwann eingehen.

Wenn Offi cool wäre, könnten sie noch sowas wie: "Jo, alle unsere Files sind jetzt Open-source. Wir entwickeln nix mehr dafür und treten alle Rechte ab" machen, was ich ehrlich gesagt feiern würde, aber als unrealistisch einstufe.

Ist doch fast so. Man hat die Source und damit alle Möglichkeiten und sie gehen nicht dagegen vor.

Das man an die Source überhaupt gekommen ist, war unwahrscheinliches Glück. Wer weiß ob sich die Flyff P-server Szene nicht in eine ganz andere Richtung entwickelt hätte ohne sie.

Und ich denke eher das die Pserver stillschweigend toleriert werden, weil sie eben nur einen Bruchtteil der Wirtschaftlichkeit des Offis haben.
Würde jetzt irgendein Pserver, aber richtig Geld in Werbung investieren, Banner auf Websiten schalten und somit richtig auffallen, würde Offi vermutlich eingreifen.
Aber wo kein Kläger, da kein Richter.

Und vor allem hat FlyFF durch die Pserver Szene zusätzlich noch die Eigenwerbung mit drin und potenziell immer einige Rückläufer die wieder zum Offi zurück kehren. Von daher nutzen wir FlyFF dadurch natürlich, weil die dadurch noch "im Gespräch bleiben" und nicht weiter untergehen.
