This name already exist

Hello/Hallo
I just finish my V17 server (my first Flyff P server) ,if I start the neuz.exe, I am even able to log in but if I want to create a character it says "This name already exist"..
Which nick I take doesnt matter, the same error appears over and over again.

Antworten sind auch auf deutsch möglich =)

Okay habs herausgefunden, sobald ich den server neustarte ist der Char da..
Mein 2. problem, wenn ich mich einlogge höre ich noch den sound von Der nachricht die kommt sobald man sich in die Welt einloggt, dann erscheint das bild in Flaris aber ab da stürzt meine Neuz.exe immer ab.

You can solve your problem with changing your odbc configuration "language" from character01 to english.
And can you explain some more information about your crash after you join the world?
Did it closed it automatically or did you got a specific message?

@Lumi I looked at the error.txt
It says that MANY things are missing (Several themes,odb) and more. But the problem is that I followed a TuT which gave me the link for the V17 USA Client. It should be compatible with the resource. I dunno why it says that so many things are missing.

the odbc language has nothing to do with it. It just shows the errors in english or german or any other language.

your CHARACTER_STR procedure is not good. Thats way you will recieve that message.

Check if there is an error inside your SQLError log server sided. for the first problem.

for the 2nd problem we need error logs. Client and or Server sided.

Dir fehlen einfach sehr viele Dateien im Client, er ist nicht mit deiner Resource kompatibel.

Hast du Folgendes eingebaut?

Wenn ja ist das die Ursache für den Error mit dem Name already exists.

ich hab dieses TuT befolgt..
habe den V17 client auf 2 verschiedenen hostern gezogen ( da ich dachte dass der client unvollständig war)
Naja ich probiere dann erstmal V15, WENN ich glück hab finde ich die files und packe diese rüber

hehe genau das habe ich ZUERST benutzt. Habe sedrikas All in One.sql benutzt, also dürfte an der Character_STR nix falsch sein oder?
PS: Mein server läuft jetzt, allerdings fehlen mir ein paar bilder/themes.. Zbs. beim skilltree werden die Klassenbilder net angezeigt, dort steht nur ???

Kannst du mir sagen was an der Character_STR falsch ist? Hier gibts nicht gerade wenig proceduren die was mit der zu tun haben

Wenn du die DB einspielst und nichts daran veränderst ist an Character_STR nichts falsch.

Wenn im Skilltree ??? steht dann müsste es eigentlich an der Resdata liegen.
Ich weiß nicht welche Files du jetzt benutzt hast aber ich würde dir raten mit cleanen V15 oder GoH Files nochmal neu anzufangen wenn deine so verbuggt sind.

As far as I know the language in odbc will solve the problem with "Name already exist". I am not really sure, but I think it will works. ;o

Yea I fixed the Name already exist problem,
Sedrikas Aio had a procedure error.

Kannst du mir denn eine Resource empfehlen? Ich will WIRKLICH keine source da ich will dass mein Server so offi like wie möglich braucht. Eig. bevorzuge ich die PoD resource aber diese ist ja "über"buggt.
Außerdem will ich 3rd jobchange also wird V15 wohl nix

Hmm .. wirst wohl nicht drum rum kommen nur Files zu benutzen, da du bei so gut wie allen Files bzw Bins noch Sachen fixen musst ob es zur Serversicherheit beiträgt oder um Systeme die rumbuggen, aber naja..

Nimm GoH oder adeilson, würde eher adeilsons Source als GoH nehmen ist aber dir überlassen.

Alles klar, sonst nehme ich einfach die clean V15 resource, ist dann auch egal.

Habe mit dem ganzen P server zeugs erst gestern angefangen. Ist es schwer eine Source aufzubauen? Bzw. wie kann man von einer Source AUF eine resource bauen, sodass man die source nicht benötigt , falls das überhaupt möglich ist.

v15 clean wäre eigentlich am besten, weil du da die gewissheit hast das alles auch funktioniert, musst allerdings dann die System einbauen die du haben willst.

Die Source brauchst du immer dann wenn du neue Systeme einbaust oder Sachen fixen möchtest die nicht in der Resource sind, wie z.B Dupemöglichkeiten oder andere Sachen.
