Changing .res to an other format.
Hi elitepvpers,
I am having an bit of trouble to let the neuz.exe read an different file format.
So instead of this.
Data.res
I have this
Data.test
This is what i have done in File.cpp
if( CompareExt( c_file.name, ".test" )
Compiled the new neuz and lauch it but it cant read those file names.
Do i need to do something else?

yes every res is .test
But for somehow i get an error that it cant find /icon/bllaa.dds
But if the resource is an .res format it can find it.

That was what i changed
if( CompareExt( c_file.name, ".test" ) )
The rest has only something to do with encrypted files.

It is working with this file for me.
Did you rename all .res in Client folders to .test?

Bump.
I will bump up this thread cause i still cant use an different file extension.
I have found several file.cpp from diff sources that has an custom file extension and they only changed the .res in file.cpp to their custom. However if i do it the neuz wont read the custom file Extension.
