ACME Crafting BOT

I plan on donating $50 on Friday as a thank you for the help the bot has given so far.

I plan on donating another $50 for the first version after Stormblood release that works.

I plan on donating yet another $50 for the first dx11 version (after Stormblood) that works. So if the first version after Stormblood is dx11, that's $100 total. =P

Not enough for a graphics card, but it's what I can do. =P

Hopefully that's a little incentive to get the bot up again! I know how frustrating it can be to feel not paid for your time working on it, so at least now there's a little bit to look forward to! ^_^

I would also suggest anyone else who can to donate as well, of course. =P

I'd actually be really surprised if there's another bot or person that can hammer the amount of HQ items ACME does as fast, I constantly get 3* HQ in 30~ steps, 4* takes a bit longer:

I personally don't hide when crafting I'm like "see my awesomeness fools".

I'll try to get the main flaw on ACME's algorithm fixed before SB.

I am a pro Crafter... with all Endgame possabilites... but.. i am way slower as ACME's Bot.
I must think about it, what is better now und look at some formulars... it is... cleary a little bit better to craft and use more lucky events. But.. faster.. no... not when you craft 20-40 HQ items with all pre-steps. And that is what it made this bot so great.

Get the Mats and let it go... can do something other... thats great!

As a general poll among people subscribed to this thread, ACME's made it pretty clear he only wants to support one version rather than support both dx9 and dx11.

I for one would much rather have dx11 supported and then not have dx9 anymore. But I'm just one voice. What do you guys think? Would you be happy/not care if dx9 support was removed in favor of dx11 support instead?

dx9 is really old and i'm pretty sure that most of people prefer dx11.

That's a good point. DX9 came out in 2002 and is 15 years old.

DX11 came out in 2009 and is 8 years old.

I'm pretty sure most people aren't running 8 year old computers playing this game. I don't think switching to only supporting dx11 is going to alienate that many people in 2017.

I'm playing on a 2 year old laptop with a 965m and DX9 runs much better for me, so I have no interest in running DX11. But I will for crafting if I have to.

As someone with a 9yo pc, system seems more stable under DX9

Oh yea, so I'm doing stuff already. I didnt post but retainer pulling was solid & faster at HW .

These new skills are going to be hot on ACME*.

PrudentTouch smashes basic touch for 100% qualitysearches, it might trivialize crafting we'll see.

When I was looking through the patch notes today, it looks like they've turned down the graphic quality of dx9, and have set dx11 as the default for windows pc systems.

If there was ever a strong indication of when to switch to doing dx11 support, I would think it would be that. It is now the default for the client. =P
