While it saddens me to see this happen, not to mention I do not agree with falling for the troll, it is very much understandable. Hopefully you can make something work going forward ACME. I wish you the best in doing so and thank you for everything you have done for everyone here.
Also, is there any way to donate as it is right now or is that closed till further notice?

I have been using you Bot since the very first release & was pleasantly supprised it supplied as Free of charge. It is sad to see this will not be available for the time being.

If you put up a way to donate or go subscription based, I will definetly support the paid version, because a bot of this calibre really should have been paid only a long time ago.

I was about to tell you that there's a donation link in the first post. but... i can't acutally find it right now. I'm like 99% sure it was there before, though, because i threw him a couple of bucks before, when i was using the bot a lot and he listened to a lot of complaints/requests i had.

Not sure where i found it before or why it's gone now, but i hope the option returns.

I agree the bot is dope even compared to other paid bots. Even if i don't actually use it to auto-craft (gotta hone your skills from time to time), i still use it for the great recipe list and materials list, it's so handy.

I can manual craft but it is sooo slow compared to this bot & watching a movie or something whilst mass producing mats I'm gonna miss alot.

Bring it back please , add donation button and send download link to those who donate or whatever method you choose. i will be first to signed up . As i just recently came back to the game (only played 3 initial months), this is godsend, helps with bulk crafting etc. etc.. And i'm not even competing for HQ's as i'm not at the top yet.

I'm assuming if he's going to be making a paid version of the bot, he'll probably be waiting to add a Donation button once he's figured out how to set it up to be available for donators. Stuff like pricing schemes and whatnot. At least, I hope so, we should still have some time with the current version (for those who downloaded it) to last us till 3.5 comes out, barring any other major updates.

I'm amazed no one else thinks it was shady, that at the last minute before he discontinues it, he admits he was paid to lock it for Balmung. I spent tons of time setting this up, doing my hotkeys etc, just to find out I couldn't use it. SHADY!!!

Pretty good business sense honestly, if one of the people donating to me asked for a requested feature, I'd probably add it to, what with the whole needing to afford food and living. Also this feature's been in the bot for a couple of months now and the bot even tells you so in the program itself. Though that kind of attitude right there is why nobody gets it now, instead of just one server. Well, except in the future people who actually respect the developer enough to pay for the work he's done. If the restriction on Balmung wasn't something added so that he got money out of it, he would probably have quit the bot ages ago and never brought it back out.

It's almost like the bot is a year and a half old (and pretty well proven by this point), the dev is well respected by the community, and everyone else is pretty happy he's finally going to get compensation for his work. Fancy that.

Wanna know what's shady? People with 3 posts on the board coming to complain about a known and respected developer who CLEARLY stated (many times) that the bot wasn't going to work on Balmung anymore (and he doesn't have to give you or anyone else a reason for that. He wrote the bot, he decides).
The fact he was kind enough to explain the reasons why the bot isn't working on Balmung is just to be crystal clear.
That Gocata kid who pulled all of this from the heights (lol) of his programming skills could've just "unlock" his bot to work on derpmung and be happy with it (even tho being AGAINST every common sense and respect between developers) but instead he decided to be the smart kid and create all of this ******** all of the people using it for free and getting their free updates. As i said tho ACME deserve a "money return" for his efforts on keeping it fully working and constantly updated so i'm more than happy to support him whenever he gives us a site or a new version and a way to support him (may be a patreon page or whatever).

That said, all of you haters can just suck it up and pay for something worth for once or just learn to craft manually like most of the people do.

What about the ppl that are clearly just kissing his *** hoping he keeps up with their free crafting bot that ARE NOT on balmung? Shady = saying things like "I will unlock for balmung soon" several times. Making it sound like it was some server issue when he was getting paid off to make to not work for Balmung. Not mentioning this in notes = SHADY!! Letting hundreds of ppl go though hours of setting it up, only to find out it doesn't work, cause he's seems to know it was SHADY and didn't want to openly admit it in notes!

[Edit]Yeah, I always assumed he didn't want his bot used against himself on his server. Now that I've learned the shocking news that he profited in a small way for years of professional development I feel nothing but happiness for him.

IF with that you're referring to me, you clearly can't read.
I stated many times that he deserve a money return for his GODLY work on the bot.
On the other hand, it's true i never donated but that doesn't mean i won't.
Does that means i'm kissing his ass? No, it just means i'm giving him kudos for being a great developer and always answering to whoever had a problem or a question about his software.

He doesn't need to explain you or anyone else why HIS work doesn't work on a server or the reasons behind this decision.
You want to apply your own rules? Write your own bot. If you're sticking to his software you're accepting his rules.

What i really see behind your posts is some kid disappointed in being left out of a software he\she\it wanted SO HARD to try and use to his\her\its advantage. Crying and whining because the toy broke and getting even more desperate knowing whoever could fix it wouldn't doesn't really help.
