About FFXIV Botting and Gold Selling

So I've read on several places now that botting in this game is pretty much safe; selling gold is what gets you banned.

But, I see this one of the most profitable gold-selling games.

My question is: Is there any particular way to sell gold that won't get you banned? Any safe method that people use?

You should probably read this artcile about FF11, and assume they have something like this going on.

So, yeah, none of it is probably really 'safe' if they have devised something like this for FFXIV.

Buying, selling and even botting can lead to a ban. Square's task force puts a mark on gil sellers and they track everyone that one seller trades with and at the end of each month or middle of each month they instantly ban each and everyone of them and those caught using bots are warned that if they carry on botting that their account will be perma-banned. Square ALSO will decide if they will also take legal action against the account owner(s) for said illegal actions in-game.

TLDR: USE BOTS AT YOUR OWN RISK! DON'T SELL GIL OR YOUR ACCOUNT WILL BE BANNED AND YOU MAY BE TAKEN TO COURT!
