[Question]Best gathering bots?

This is a sincere question, I had previously used some of the bots found in the FFXIV section on FFEVO (Has some good stuff by the way), but now they're down and gone. Of the existing bots, which are (actually) worth using?

I know I've seen the big ones around a little, such as MMOViper, BasaBots, FFXIVMinion... but are any of them really worth paying for? To be perfectly honest I just wanna be lazy and gather some shards/crystals, and maybe grind a class up to 50 without putting in much effort.

If you've tried any, and recommend any, please do tell.

If I was going to pay for a bot I would probably go for FFXIVMinion, its use of navigation meshes alone makes it very desirable imo.

you also have Lasta which is free and very nice to almost everything but fishing.

Well, I can recommend Psykador (free) for fish botting. You can find that one on FFEVO.

I tried FFXIVMinion, I really liked that they have a free trial.

I didn't play around with it for long to be honest, after i got over a few hurdles (For instance, While fate grinding you have to be in first person).. I know I didn't really get it for that, but it is what i tested the most for the duration of the trial.

Maybe if I played around with it a little more I would have had more success, There were a lot of nice features that I really did like, but it seems to me it needs quite a bit of fine tuning, and i felt like a lot of the guide/informative material on the forums could be much more accessible.

I'm not saying FFXIVMinion is bad, But I felt like it still has some development time before its truly pay-worthy. That being said, I might still buy a sub and use it, because at least that does support the dev team, and I would like to see it grow.

Truthfully, I was hoping for a more refined tool, Less options is okay with me, as long as they are all very functional.

Again, I liked the free trial, and I will probably buy a code somewhere down the line as a form of donation (not to say I won't use it :P), but I think currently I am still looking for other alternatives.

I've been hearing good things about MMOViper, anyone have any input on it?

Thanks i think i know i need to set the skill on the hotbar if not it wont detect you can try to remove the skill and skill all to basic touch and all come out only basic touch thanks

Thanks, I was considering Viper, I tried MMO Minion, I liked it but it seems like its still in dev stages, at least in my opinion, needs some debugging or something xD - Again, not trying to slander them, just didn't work as seemlessly as I'd like to pay for a product. x.x;

Lasta is free, but it didn't work very well for me, I had a hard time figuring it out.

Once upon a time i used Bolter v2.0 for gathering, worked very well, it's on the FFEVO community, but that project has been discontinued, the guy is making a new version he says.. however, I don't know when it will be done.

I'm now using Reborn Buddy for fate grinding, got the 3 day trial for a buck, works pretty good!

I assume the gathering portion of it will work well too, but I still have to get to that. I had some issues at first, it's a little complicated and the documentation is all over the place on their forums, but the program is quite functional.

Is Rebornbuddy worth using, the short answer is no!

As of July 25 2015 the bot does not support Direct-X 11 and has no
support for flying. We are now about a month after the release
of Heavensward and major items are missing from this bot.

The bot is horribly busted the customer service from Bossland GmbH
is pretty much non-existent. (Bossland GmbH is the company that makes this bot)

Basically there is only one developer who works on this
bot who goes by the name of mastahg

Basically most of the functions for this so called "bot"
are not built in and you have to use plugins to get key
features to work with the bot. Most of those functions
are community developed and support is extremely lacking
on any of those plugins.

At any time the developer can decide to stop supporting
this plugin and you will lose a key function of that bot which
you need.

Oh also you will get no support for any 3rd party plugin
which you use by Bossland GmbH they refuse to give
any kind of help what so ever for it and will tell you to contact
the author. This is their way of getting around having to
put the function in their bot and actually support it.

Support for the bot is absolutely horrible and a lot of the
people on their forms are just a bunch of elitist a-holes
good luck on getting support from there.

Keep far far away from this bot it is NOT worth it!

I know this topic is old, but is there still any FREE gathering bots around for ffxiv? Or does anyone have an old version of a free one that works?
