The Database & Scripts are being cleaned up and fixed currently. We just don't broadcast it on this thread as we are primarily on the Tunngle public chat discussing the project. Or whatever else.

People can freely download, compile, run and configure the current SVN. The PXI SVN/Source code has been out for years. 1- Got one. Linked it earlier. That is the current progress of the publicly released server. Everything else is just test code. There is no current code ready for the SVN other than what is on the SVN. When there is it will be updated. Be patient.

You Jackwagon! heh.. Screwy commercial. Unless someone asks for something to do we don't assign anyone anything. Even when people do ask for something we kinda have a list and just let them pick something up they might be interested in doing or learning. Hell, kyou has spent quite a bit of time teaching others how to do things because they want to get more involved in the project.

No one has to like what we are doing or how this project is currently being handled. That is expected and we don't ask anyone to understand our reasons for anything we do. Get involved, read up on all the updates and decide if you want to contribute. If you don't want to contribute to DLX then go somewhere else or work on something else on your own.

Other than that thank you for your thoughts and suggestions. As time goes on we will be sure to keep such things in mind as a possible option in the future.

Wink Bugs

1. Cant pass spout in Ifrit Cauldron
2. Dobble Gangers in Fei yen seems to skip and disappear when pulling them
3. No way to do tele quest
4. Zoning mobs make them disappear forever while logging out on mobs they stay in same spot you log out at
5. Weopon skills are no where near the damage they should be mainly single hit ones like howling fist, although combo and raging fist do decent damage just not around what it should be.
6. beastman dont drop gil
7. Goblin NM in labrinth of Onzo that drops Magic Att earrings blows himself up with regular bombs toss not letting you get drops
8. Regen on high lvl mobs such as Lord of Onzo Have insane regen
9. Roc Has 30x more hp than Simburg
10. Trading coffer key to chest gives you text about feasting table whatever that is
also wouldnt mind have a @ zone for aht urgan, Sky, and lu faise meadows

Wanted to report a few buggys.

1.) Vouivre spawns in Ifrit's Cauldron in the middle of the volcano and just sort of floats there in midair.

2.) Snoll type monsters (at least the ones in Uleguerand Range) do not use TP moves.

3.) The teleport crystal in yhoator jungle never seems to spawn for me.

4.) The music for Rolanberry Fields plays while in Pashow Marshlands.

No, because you can get to both by running or by choco.. Though aht urghan was added to the list. Which opens up quite a few more places to level.

A few other notable changes:

Bug: Suicidal Goblins don't give XP
-- Patched, Ready for testing.
---- They still suicide but you will get xp now.

Bug: You can range attack other players.
-- Hot Fix, Ready for testing.
---- You shouldn't be able to range attack NPC's or Players anymore.

Bug: Mog Houses don't work.
-- Temp Patch, Ready for testing.
---- Entering any mog house will take you to the aht urghan residential area. When you exit you will go back to where you entered from. If you go in from bastok markets you will end up back there.

GM Command Updates:
@changejob & @changesjob have been disabled with the mog house patch.
@zone: Al Zahbi is now on the list of available areas.
@unlockjob # is now available to unlock all your jobs so that they show up.

If you didn't do the subjob quest then you still need to do it as it is working.

Bug: Healing then @zoning out gives you perma regen.
-- Patched.
---- You can't @zone if you are healing.

Bug: Attacking a mob while healing gives you perma regen.
-- Patched.
---- This was funny because I had it patched like 3mins after someone mentioned it. "Theres no way they fixed it that fast!" ^^

Temporary workarounds and gifts:
-- Npcs at the crags give you a free choco regardless of ticket or level.
-- No quest required to go to sky. The door gives you the key item.
-- whm teleport spells only really require that you do 1 quest in Bastok.

Changes you won't actually see:
DLX GMTool:
-- Program catches full crashes and restarts the server immediately.
---- The server crashes a lot less than it used to. Though this catches most of the others. There is one elusive little bug that is locking the TCP connection that it won't recover from. Because the program is running but not completing the connections.

A lot is going on here with DLX and we are still moving forward. Will have more update info as I get it together.

i just asking thanks anyway and thanks again fro the updates keep going the server is going great, and i finish the chocobo on the losse and the chocobo wounds quest, thanks for the infos...

hey the ranged attack can still hurt urself i killed myself with a ranged attack haha
if u change ur target during a ranged attack it'll switch targets that is not supposed to happen

I'm ok with people hurting themselves as it would be their own fault. Just shouldn't be able to hurt others at this time. Feel free to kill your own toon as much as you like.

Well again the same problem of before
I enter Serpent Grotto via Yuhtunga Jungle and the screen is black with no chat box or anything, all screen is black the only thing is the sound of the wind in the cave...

1.Bards ask repeat quest never attemted
2.can access sea by going to crags
3.Some elements not in right area such as water elemental near labrinth of onzo zone
4.Logging works perfect but just doing move areas
5.Some zone dont allow you to click in spots such as doors or telepoint spot after being in zone when logging in
6.Raging fist was out damaging Asuran fist
7.Sky dolls fight them selves i havent tested if i hit them last if i get exp
8.Door to sky in hall of gods does not open even with cerulean pendant it use to but doesnt now
9.Door in Castle Oztrja leading up stairs not working correctly both levers drop you in pit
10.Also with your update on mobs i can mpk mass amounts of people by dragging mobs near zone and lose aggro
11.Turning down drops does let me check and see if mobs are dropping right items like nm
12.Lufaise meadow fomors are very tough at lvl 75
13.All padfoots spawns can drop items
14.hitting 75 unlocks merit abilities
15.Certain NM are missing major ones are yagudos in giddeous, nm yagudos in castle oztraja, western and northern shadow, also eastern shadow doesnt use range attacks
16.since there are low numbers of people self destruct moves should be enabled even though people may see it as cheating it will lead to players saying how do i lvl with no one else being on
17.Conquest points not working
18.when click mission or quest complete get a loading screen that never loads anythings
19.Some nps were missing such as one to start MNK aF chain quest
20.Cant enter castle in sandy maybe cause my character from windy or not far enough in quest
21.Bridge in port bastok appears down but is really in stuck upright position
22.Feel like some items prices should be change if people were to start with 100,000 such as hand to hands for a lvl 55 mnk are around 40-60k
23.some items are stuck in treasure like after i killed king vinegard aces helm would not go to items until i zoned
24.changing jobs with items on will take off all items but you keep there stats and even stack them Tiamat doesnt appear up could be thru map
25.Xololt pets dont fight with xololt and dont even spawn near him
26.Might need to work on spawn for King arthro for when all crabs die or could just have him and all crabs spawn at same time see whos first to claim and kill his buddies to make it more challenging
27.Sure Cemetary Cherry is same way
28.Some chest seem to work by trading key you wont get text or see animation but if check inventory you may have item
29.Cant get into norg wall in sea serpent grott0 wont open
30.Fomors out side of white gate drop sacrium gear

thanks for the updates and bug reports people..

Ok. A little info on what has been going on here.

If you have been wondering why the server is down it is because I moved. I do have a internet connection but the server PC and its monitor took a hit during the move.(never EVER let ppl help you move!) I will be able to recover everything it is just going to take a day.

Good news is that I backed up the server & character files before I moved. I'll be installing it on my main pc (which I am really frowning on) until i get the server PC up and running again. I guess more good news is that my main pc is about 4x faster then the old one.

Anyways, check with me on tunngle for updates on the server status.

wow, first of all i wanna say im impressed by how good this one looks already
i just started playing on ur server today and compared to others its amazing how many things work already.

the /smes encouraged us to post bugs on here, i didnt read the whole thread yet so dunno what you already know and what not, so heres my little list:

i assume you are aware of the major problems already (like monsters not roaming, opening CSs for new chars missing and quest/mission log not working etc) so ill list some minor ones:

- when i died i lost signet, i think that wasnt the case in the real game
- in windy woods, the NPC Harara, W.W. says : "I am Aldoras, [...]"
- sometimes when talking to NPCs (signet, missioin) i got the message "Trial: Defeat a set number of XP yielding Monsters under the prescribed conditions" - what is that??
- in the sandy missions (well only did 1-1 so far, dunno yet if its in all of em) the NPC Rochefogne is a taru o.O

server is down atm so i took the time to write my first post and say hello^^ i bet we will see each other more often now, since i will continue playing on here for a while, really like it so far ( and ill get some friends too )
