FFXI APP
Anyone can tell me what wait time you use for Provoke?
Also i like to know why Mages are try to claim with Fire instead Stun, Stun is faster right so why use Fire?
My Problem is this if i set the Wait time to 0.7 sec it will fire after like 4sec.
so very late and i dont get a Massage like "Target allready claimed"
Anyidea?

Why use fire and stun when u can use holly, dia and poison?
i havent heard and seen that mages try to claim with fire!?
DONT USE FIRE AS CLAIMTOOL

fire works well with /targetnpc
but if your botting you already have a /wait so might as well use a instant claim

Maybe the redmages can claimb with with fire because they have faster cast time on element spell then blm has..
but idont think its so usefull for blm though...
but maybe its true that u say but i havent heard and seen it before..
another reason why they maybe claimb with fire on HNM can be because they maybe resist DBuff spells like dia and lose claimb less then 1sec..

Spook and Fafnir have same claim condisions
Or HNMS and Nms are diffrent ?
Anyone know that?

ohh another Question
for exampel if Spook pop and you can claim him after 2 sec.
and lets say you have a wait from 0.7 and the spell i cast takes 1.3 sec.i may get him.
so it is the same if i use a spell that takes longer to cast
like 1.7sec. and just have the wait 0.3 i?
or how do i have to understand that?

If we say the pop start one time (0sec delay) and it will be claimbable at ex (2sec delay) u will be able to start your spell or ability after 2sec.. so u wont be able to cast the spell at 1,3sec if your cast time is 0,7
for a easy way to check this kill something catch hes nr put it in mrargus or ffxi app, set your macro for ex /ma "freeze" <t> (a spell who take long time to cast and set delay time on 0 and wait for the mob to spawn.. I did that on a worm in ranpers tomb and it failed..

i c thx a lot Trashkan for the explaining i wil try claim with Stun then.
what About claim with Range attack can that pass the claim system maybe i know ppl can claim almoust instant with Attack (Dagger) but they need to warp to the NPC so thats to danger in my opinion
did you ever try that?

I think you are wrong about that.
If a mob pops as example at 0 and is claimable at 2sec after pop then: Ex. Start Flash after 1.5sec + 0.5sec casting time = exactly 2sec claim time, but the problem is that the time the NM goes claimable is random.
If you put in 1.4sec to start casting after pop + 0.5sec will be too early, in that case 'Cannot perform that action', If you take too long then you will likely get 'Your target is already claimed' because someone was luckier with starting time.
Also it doesnt really matter what spell or ability you use. You can also start Fire at 0.sec after pop, all in all it will be who is closest to time mobs gets free for claim.
And many people use spells to claim, like Fire and Flash. Also why do you use /targetnpc when the program targets for you lol?

I dont think any ability or magic can cheat the claim sytstem!
one more thing about delay on claimtool its random for all ppl.. everything depends how fast u can send ms and resive ms to ffxi database in japan and when i mean depends it can be where u live and stuff.....
for a time ago they didnt have claim time and that made all japanese catch all nm's because they had less ms delay from server then we have but the system is pretty hard to understand.. for japaneses the delay time is around around 3sec and american 2sec for europen 1-1,5..
the delay for claiming depends of mob2..
i camp spook at 1500ms i have been on 800ms on spook, before i reinstall my computer...

It is not about cheating the system with a spell (besides we cheat with the bot lol), its about who lands his ability or spell FASTEST after it goes claimable. And the time it goes claimable is same to all.
I would probably guess if someone made a statistic what wait time and spell/ability claimed most of the time, then we can figure an average time that can be used.

Like i said try use mrargus for exempel and catch a creatures guicode who spawn everytime on same place kill it and wait for next pop, set macro to /ma "Freeze <t> or any other ability who take longer the 2-3sec to cast and put delay on mrargus to 0 and wait for the mob to pop.. that is a way to find out.. i tried it and it didnt work..

I tried that, its exactly like i said. Your freeze will go off because the spell is not interrupted at the 2sec mark. It will be stopped at the time your spell goes off.
Or not stopped in case you catch right time.
