He needs to be online from origin, ask him to select the status from invisible to In Game in Origin

Seems like you've registered here to ask your question, but it's not main purpose of this forum. What I would suggest is check official fifa forum or simply google it. Or at least give us little more details.

the problem is
that you must both the same game language to play on the same server

the best one is the English server
