Many people complain the FFXI is unfair in it's consumption of players time with long winded and unessecary tasks (2cm rises in land blocking off an area, anyone?) Many also feel that some of FFXIs in game systems arn't up to the high standards required by it's users (e.g. the unessecary wait time of the deliver box and auction house.)

No, It doesn't include ffxiapp > (maybe if you'd read more carefully, you'd see that it lists the files included), if you want that check the ffxiapp post, or , they supply the patch/crack for it, but its on you to find the app itself...., they might provide the old version cracked, but you'd haft to check EDIT: And if they do have the old version, Fuckapp.exe must be used. which is....
