NPC is the tool that gets the monster packet #
MrArgus is the finder, but needs to know what to find.

Ok, i've fixed that. I tested this for Spook NM but when it spams atl + 0, i set it as /targetnpc, /ja "Provoke" <t> and then /attack <t>. But it will target the Tombstone, not the spook, is /targetnpc reccomemded?

I got everything set and the only thing confusing me is that the spamming of alt + 0, whats a reccomended marco for Hoo Mjuu the Torrent?

How do you set this up properly? Like always claiming the NM? E.g Claiming Spook everytime it pops

Any ideas? I've been trying to figure it out and i've been looking all over Google on how to set it up properly but all people brag on is all good it is.. That isnt really useful! >.>;

/targetnpc is the only way I know of right now. I need to see if I can just type /target "NM's name" and see if that works but I highly doubt it does. It's a good tool if the NM you want is a lone spawn, but otherwise no it is not that good.

There's probably more to using it...but this is all I know from my testing.

So which NM is best for this bot?
Was thinking of getting O.Kote but how do you get this bot to walk/run to the NM and voke it when it pops?

if you need to run to a nm you can forget it ^^
The Time you're running someone lese voked the o.kote.mob because his spawnzone is very low and many "good" botters are camping there.

Mr.Argus source code was released and people have made versions that auto-teleport you to the mob. This one however is the base. As for picking an NM...try to pick one with a small spawn area and fairly consistant pop rate. As the name of the program suggests...Argus is a good one to use this on

Wish I did...but I do not

As of 10/10 patch, the FFXI window randomly changes its name approximately every 10-15 seconds.

This renders Mr.Argus useless.

Edit: Thanks Mizu for deleting my double post.

Windower has a plugin that now stops the window name change. Mr.Argus works again

Just download, load it up in game, then name the window what you need

I stopped the window name from changing with that plugin, but MrArgus still doesn't work- can't really think of anything else atm. Someone told me it needed to be recoded since the software itself was simply rendered useless after the patch...

Not much of a very new mr.argus, just a new offset code. I have the code but the mr.argus warp worked only twice and then it didn't for some reason.

Ok... My Mr. Argus doesn't seem to want to work here are following problems. 1.) It will not target mobs. I have correct offsets Iono what I am doing wrong. 2.) It takes a long time to react.
