Rule#1- NEVER run fiddler/charles for more then 5 to 10 minutes, example go on fill your resources repair your fleets or build ships. Then CLOSE EVERYTHING!
Rule#2- After closing your browser and fiddler/charles re-open your browser and DELETE ALL history on your browser.
Rules#3- ALWAYS log on and use a test account before using your main account EVERY TIME! That way if your alt gets banned you still have your main and can wait for an updated file or help to find out what you did wrong.
Rule#4- Level extremely slow, Dont go and upgrade all your buildings to level 10 in 2 hours. Instead use for resources, and repairs start and upgrade or research and cut a day off of the research or upgrade time that way you arnt gaining new stuff constently and arise suspicion(people seem to enjoy reporting other people with or with out cheats involved)
Rule#5- NEVER EVER ADMIT TO USING ANY KIND OF HACK. NOT ON FACEBOOK NOT IN COMMS NO WHERE! some people are stupid and will brag you do that you'll be banned with in an hour.
Rule#6- Watch what you say in chat. If you tell everyone you cant wait to have hammerheads or FFs, DO NOT build them an hour later and say look at my new fleet.(DUH!!!) If you really cant wait then build some but only use it when coms are dead and use something small for your flagship
Rule#7- Change your name and move weekly, with uber-light name changes are free and you can relocate every 7 days. Dont sit in the same sector and gain 10 levels in a week you'll get reported and will end up being banned. If you have a "home" sector then after a few weeks return there just dont grow bigger then the people who were there befor you left most people arnt stupid and will catch on.
Rule#8- Dont go using a weapon they havnt introduced into the game yet, For example, Rokon has the bp for the flake cannon for ships, Well guess what they havnt introduced it into the game yet so if you go slamming bases or someones fleets and they see it your banned.
Rule#9- The lower your player id# the better chance you have of not being cought. So if you start a new account more then likely you'll be in the 5 millions and if you have a level 30 in a week they will ask many questions and you'll get investigated witch means BANNED!
Rule#10- If people know you didnt win a hull in the raids(the seascorp(colored) hammerhead a and b(colored) or baracudas(my favorite) or weapons (hailstorms(drac anti-morter) Dont use them as your flagships. Thats just saying HEY LOOK AT ME I HAVE SOMETHING I SHOULDNT REPORT ME. Weapons and armor arnt as noticable.
Rulle#11- Dont Have someone run a test on your base then have all DU4 turrets the next day and say do it again. You may think they your friend but they will report you.
Rule#12- Never tell anyone what you have for Drac Blueprints or what you have researched so far. Reason being every weapon has a different projectile weather it be different color, size, salvo, shape or movement speed and 87% of players notice and can tell whats what for weapons. So if you tell people what you have everyone now can see when your using seige missles but said you only had assults or strikers they are going to wonder about it and more then likely report it.
Rule#13(and last)- Use common sense, i know thats a hard concept for a lot of people but thats all it is, if you think before doing something outrages you relize "gee this might get me cought should i take the risk?
Im posting this becuase i beleave the longer we can go with out people getting banned the longer we can run each version giving the makers more time for whatever else they do, In the long run they wont get sick of making them and we can enjoy them for a long time. But if people dont start playing smart the makers might go underground taking the files away from the people who do use their heads and have NEVER been band. I use these 13 rules and i have never been banned on any account. Ive got 2 main i use daily and 1 solid test used daily b4 those.
I also think this would be a good thread for people to post tutorials on how to use charles and fiddler or any kind of information that you feel should be found easily. I read the same exact questions over and over on every thread of how do i do this or how do i do that. Ive got a good tutorial link for fiddler thats made for BYM but works for battle pirates also. I got to find it first tho. I hope this helps every one and remember playing with your head isnt always a bad thing. And the fun will last the longer you use it.

1. Charles Debugging Proxy (Download and install it if you don't have one)
2. Browser to play Battle Pirates.
Step by Steps:
1. Open Charles debugging proxy.
2. Open Google chrome browser.
3. Clear your browser cache first.
4. Log in to battle pirates and wait until the loading is finish.
5. In charles find and click the [''+'' "http://bp-fb4.cdn.kixeye.com"]
6. Click [''+'' game] then select "assets".
7. Right click game-vxx.vxx.swf (latest game version) and click Map Local
8. Choose and find the swf files that you have extract before.
9. Clear your browser cache again and open battle pirates again.
Remember to block or redirect anything that checks your credits, etc.
