but the light blinks and blinks continously so do i like wait for it to not blink then press ok? or does the number of blinks also affect the result of the upgrade?

shygoy I think I love you this does seem to work once u get your head around it, you have to click fast just as the light passes off the blade.

omg people i understand it now :P this is how i did it i wasted 3 yellows tryin to do what he said but when u have ur items in the upgrade thingy look at the npc there wand will glow once it goes out then click upgrade worked for me.
