[Help] Changing login screen(old files)

I am using the old files and i am trying to change the login screen, i am following phantomnytes guide and i have a full version of trillix aswell.
When i try to drop the login.dat file into the trillix program nothing happens, no error no response , it just doesnt open it.
Any ideas?
