Maybe I'm just a smooth brained individual but any info would be greatly appreciated as I'm looking for a way to cheat on PvE.

Feature detections do not come from battleye. There are two ways such a thing could be detected. One is an internal module which is specifically to detect modifications in the game that should not be. An example of this could be checking the recoil intensity and if it is not set to what is expected by the game then it will ban the player. The other way is through server sided checks on the information it is being given. There is no way to know what tarkov has setup for this but you can work it out through trial and error as well as common sense.
Tarkov doesn't have an internal module so you needn't worry about that however it does have server sided checks which can result in bans. And even in PvE you are having to network information so you won't escape these checks regardless of being in PvE.
In PvE cheats, there are some absurd features like item spawners and a ton of other things which are very blatant and easy to detect with some simple logic. A lot of players use these features to spawn in THICC cases or other things which should never in no circumstance be found in raid so god knows how many red flags are being triggered when someone is doing that. Another prime example would be maxing traders / stats.
Hopefully from this information you can see how such features could be detected. When it comes to god mode or fly, these don't matter and can be abused.
