Sugargoo DMA Legit?
Is sugargoo DMA legit, I see many people having the same exact packaging for DMA as sugargoo Chinese ones. Has anyone got a dma from there?

Sugargoo is just a shipping agent. you put in your taobao link and they'll buy it and ship it to
I have personally used it to buy a captain v4. shipping will cost you around $40
i used this shop

You bought the CaptainV4+ customized firmware or CaptainV4+ customized firmware (free update)?
What's the difference between these two? Also I think it literally costs the same as buying from captain DMA website when you account for shipping. Is there a return policy at least with sugargoo?

Just the v4 + cfw. not entirely sure what the difference is i think you just get firmware updates but i didnt know enough to justify the extra money
Its around $100 cheaper since captaindma will also charge you $30-40 for shipping
Technically no returns but legally you're entitled to a chargeback if you recieve a faulty item with no return option

Ah ok and your card works fine? No irregular speeds? Is there a tutorial that it comes with? Im new to DMA and just want something for EFT. I heard any fw is fine. Is it sort of plug and play or is there a lot of setup to it? Also, I ddnt know you had to pay for extra shipping on CaptainDMA thought it was included, probably better to buy off sugargoo then

its just a normal captaindma card no differences at all. you can get intouch with support through sugargoo (they'll contact them on your behalf) and send you links etc...
HOWEVER if you're new and just wanna plug n play id really recommened sticking to normal resellers as the experience will be alot easier

Well the problem is that there are some people in CaptainDMA server who still cannot fix some of their issues with slow cards or troubleshooting. You don't think its worth saving the extra money? I don't care too much about plug and play but did you just have to install drivers or was there more?

Just another question, what games does the cfw that the board comes with support? Is it be/eac?

supports eac/be (ive played rust/eft)
not sure about offical support for val. probably works though but i dont want to spread malicious info

Alright, I think Ill just buy from them then, hopefully works on fn? Also how easy was the setup on scale of 1-10?
Ah ok, didnt know they had their setup as public info. I will definitely just buy from sugargoo then, I kinda do wanna try it on val but couldn't care less if fw doesn't work for it, thanks for all your help

No, the firmware will not work on valorant. OP, don't even try it. Do some research first if you want to get into the valorant scene with DMA.

Just for info I picked this card up and the firmware they provide has the default pcileech config space, which means you are likely to get banned on BE and EAC as they have banned for config space in the past.
Definitely worth it for the cards, and you can then just buy some 'legit' firmware for around $90 USD.
