Almost instabanned - HWID banned?

Hi forum,

I've cheated on a few accounts in EFT in the past, but haven't played in a year or so.
Bought a new account and got a game going. Got banned within 30 mins in my first raid. I didn't use or have any cheat installed this time.
That must mean I'm HWID banned, right?
If yes, should I just buy a spoofer and play with that, without cheating of course?

Spoofers are the most popular method of getting around HWID bans, yes.

You could also:

1. Swap out your drives. Whichever drives you had plugged in at the time of the ban, unplug them and replace them with new ones. You cannot switch just one of the drives, if you had two plugged in for example. They all have to be switched.

2. Raid0 your drives. If you have two+ drives, you are able to raid0 them and essentially make your drive serials all 0's. This is a good method, but be wary that no one knows for sure if BattlEye tracks only drive serials.
