I've seen it happen but very rarely, and it has to be a manual ban (meaning you did not get an email when you got banned).
You'll have to open a case with BSG first, and they will ask you to open a case with BattlEye (they will take a long time to respond) proving that BE has no traces of you cheating, and then they will potentially unban you.
Again, has to have been a manual ban, and it's not easy or common, but I've seen it a couple of times
