I've made a type of flea market bot which works as a overlay. Which means you have to have the game open, but it doesn't mess with any internal client or stuff like that (don't know much about that stuff). So i guess it's pretty hard to detect. My question is: How much are people willing to pay for a bot like that?
Shortly said about the bot: It does exactly what you yourself are able to do, but the bot can do it for hours.
This is how it works:
1. You add a bunch of items to your wish list that sometimes are sold for a price lower than the merchants will buy it for.
2. The bot cycles through your wish list and looks for items that are underpriced.
3. If there is either no more roubles or space in your inventory, it automatically sells the items for the highest paying merchant and makes a profit. And repeats the process until you stop the bot.
The bot uses image recognition and can complete the captcha without any problems. There are also several procedures built in that makes sure the bot actually can go on indefinitely (if you want to).
I've tested it several times and the amount of money it makes vary a lot, but it averaged about 15k roubles per minute (couple weeks after wipe).
The bot can easily be outperformed by a human in reaction time, so the bot doesn't necessarily ruin the game directly for other players.
I ran it for 14 hours without any problems! Made about 12mill roubles.
UPDATE: Still works for 12.12
