Swicthing from host to VPS

Hey guys i was wondering if anyone could inforn me if i changed ALL of the ips in the game folder and acc servers, will the auto pacth run to pacth thr client?

Or do i need to reupload the client?

if you want make autopatch try SEARCH autopatch i saw someone post about it..try it but you need make patch also in same VPS..and connect it

no i ahve an auto pacth just when i swicth to vps will it connect to update all the ips to the vps

That depends. If the clients are connecting to a dyndns just change the forwardarding IP address so it is the IP of the VPS not the old host. Your clients oem.dat will then automatically be updated. It will not, however, update if you are directly connecting it to your IP and you will either have to release a manual patch or a brand new client that has the IP of the VPS.

it depends like he says

if you got it pointed to your own ip , then you need to keep autopatch on your own ip

and you should make a new client so other users can download the good client that is pointed to the vps (put a autopatcher on it to)

but you still need to use your own ip to provide the first patch until every player is patched and new players will have a patched client already (fresh client)

if you do not do that then you will have trouble with new players , as they mostly can not find the patch they need and will complain to you
