A certain someone reckons I make good guides, so heres my second effort.
PATCHES! How I made One.
Prerequisites
1- Computer, sorry for the sarcasm.
2- Winrar
1-Select all the files you wish to use in the patch. Include the version.dat file which needs to be edited through notepad to higher number. (EG 1001 to 1002). Important, every folder you edit in anyway must be included in the patch!
2-Place all the edited, altered and selected files on the desktop.
3-Right click on any of the files and select ''add to archive''
4-In the pop-up window select the the following options ''Add and Update'' -
''Create SFX Archive''
5-Highlight RAR and select ''Normal'' Compression
6-Finally, where it says name at the top of the pop-up box, put in a name or number for the patch and hit OK.
A new file will soon appear on your desktop, now just upload it to wherever you store your patches and your done
Now before the more experienced among you start saying things like ''oo thats so wrong'' and other not so complimentary things, let me explain something.
