help me xampp

im use p1 wimax.internet but i dont know how to use xampp to connect. i have look my ip adress and typ in url. but other computer cant see... why?? my connection adress type is DHCP.

You need to open your port 80 in your router and/or firewall. Also make sure nothing else is using the port.

whats the best way to explain it

lets start with the beginning
first i need to have the information to know what ip you use to conect (localhost ??)

lets start with the beginning

install Xampp (or any other program)

then start Xampp on port 80

check if it loads on localhost
it works ?? great , go to next step

it doesnt works ?? then the install is screwed up and no1 can help then

ok , lets go to step 2
go to your other computer and input your local ip (192.168.x.x)

does it works ?? Great , go to step 3 and your almost done

does it fail ??
well , check your firewall

if you got windows firewall running , Disable it or go to google and search how you can setup it like it need to be (to long to explain)

no firewall running and local ip doesnt works ?? then check your router and DISABLE the firewall

still not working ?? check then if you got the right ip , els your screwed and then you will never be able to get it to work

is it working ??
ok , lets continue

if you disabled the firewall and you are still not able to conect to your outbound ip (ip you see on internet , so it does not start with 192.168.x.x)

then you need to find a option on the router to open ALL ports on your computer
for me is it called DMRZ
mostly you can only add 1 ip to it (looks like 192.168.x.x) and fill your inbound ip to it (last number) and press safe

1 min later you will be able to conect to it

1 downside of it , you dont have a single security on it , 1 single atk on your computer and your computer is down

but atleast the website is working
