[HELP] How to modify Itemtype.dat/Shop.dat

Hello, as i wrote in my sig, i'm a Noob and, i need some help, i want to explain, as to a Noob how i can Add new item in Shop.dat / Itemtype.dat I try to use the [Release] made by funhacker ... but...
If someone can help me, Thanks.
