I need some tips and hints please :)

Hello all
first let me introduce my self my name is Rosalin you can call me Rosa
i always welcome new friends ,, before few days i decided to make my own private server and read guides , downloaded files and made the server and i think some will take it strange for girl to make server but we in 2014!!but guys
all databases i use i get alot of problems (bugs)
in revo when use skills mount disappear
idk how to fix
candy msgserver get error and say kernal closed
maggie db was cool with vampire but any item insert to goods and shop cant buy i fixed that but every teleporter npc i make not run even i copy it from release here btw my tele npc worked in revo!!
Chaos db is good need ALOT of work to insert vampire

i dont mean rude to owner of this dbs im really respect them to release their dbs here fore free and i know i should fix that bugs but i need some tips please
1-which db will be good with me to start edit , fix ,etc and insert vampire
i posted that cuz i know there are many helpfull ppl will help me like they are doing with all ppl funhacker no1 Khalidmadkour and alot of ppl sorry dont rember all names

Well
Do like demonpower and start from scratch

We started with the phdev db (pre pala / pala ) and removed everything and started from scratch

So if you want a bugless db then start with phdev version
Then learn from that db and fix the minor bugs ( all are reported on this forum)
And then add your stuff like vampire and stuff

There is no version with out bugs but there is a clean version (phdev)

Im also build my own database from scratch.. where there has no family war, legion war, paladin and others.. Right now im build Crazytao server from scratch which no bugs at all... to get clean database.. you should use phdev database and take out each NPC and its action one by one.. so you can build any gameplay of you server which you like.. hope its helpful

but i have a question hope you guys feel free to answer me
if i used db for example (maggie and that original db phyv ) im trying to say if in mysgl forget had foldes my-org have original can_files and anther folder have maggie.cq_files and then exported cq npc , magic , track ,action , itemtype, and eudemons monstertype grade ) from maggie db to sgl script and then i opened the original db and put agl that i got from maggie db to that org at that page that u get when you press F6 and then paste and enter
then open sgl by notebad,etc and replace INSERT to REPLACE and put it again but as quary and pressed run

is that way will destroy the db or make it like i want it to be
btw in my folder there are 3 files of every cq for example cq_itemtype there are *.myi .*frm and anther type can anyone tell me what is that guys please

You can try to mix up differend databases
but if they use differend tables or differend data ( like npc icons and stuff) then you get a realy big mess xD

those 3 files you are talking about are the datafiles


.MYI file

A file containing the metadata, such as the table definition, of a MySQL table.

For backups, you must always keep the full set of .frm files along with the backup data to be able to restore tables that are altered or dropped after the backup.

and i liked that way about mix dbs hehehe but i like to work on organized db so i could understand whats going on ,, im sure i need alot of hard work all i wanna to do is make game which all can play , btw i like ur map at ur db it called free pk map with nice effect ,, do you mind if i add it to my P.SERVER when i make it ?

it`s so hard find a new db then starting with nothing already i try this idea
but not worth cuz much of player today running for the easily server with high drop also compose so u tried ur self without a reason wroth

Im suggest dont build own database from scratch for Eudemons... mybe someone will release chinese official files that contain everything..

I dont really visit this site much for now , but the lights still go on Revo and Mann. full my bugless Revo and Ensidia were to be a nice start thus I've tried hardly to get a copy of any of my old databases even heroes database that I released haha :P sadly all are gone .. so just do as i said , start with Revo's database (not too old and not new) and dont give up , try to learn how to fix everything even by yourself you might resurrect this section back up again .

I was looking to talk with you before time , I like your realse and pleased to see your replay
about revo you'r right it's agood db the problem i got in it using skills diss mount , yesterday i used chaos it was really coool , THX !!! Chaos :*
so i think im gonna do mix from the good things in revo chaos maggie rainbow forsure i will add some of my own work and fix bugs with that i can say i got awesome DB

btw what do you think about acme db ?
