[Help] Itemtype.dat

Hello everyone.
Can someone please tell me what can I use to get the original ids for all items from TQs itemtype.dat ?
And what Database is the best to start making a server ( not copy/paste )? I need something good to work on.
Thank you for reading this. I'd be grateful if you'll answer too.

Your Best Bet would be to use A Candy/Revo/Manny or Pre-pally DB, and take the files for what items your looking for in TQ , (example , if you want an outfit take the texture and mesh file) and just add them yourself with your own ID's , trying to make TQ work with a DB is a pain in the a$$

get a public client and open the itemtype with an itemtype editor and look?
best starting server is one that has nothing added to it ... you will spend more time fixing and learning other peoples things than if you built them yourself

I see. For IDs, I need the pet IDs for something.

That's why I asked about a good DB otherwise I would've taken one with lots of things added and over 1000 bugs. The thing you said about the itemtype.dat the itemtype editor I found on this forum doesn't read TQ's itemtype.dat

look at any guide for adding pets ... you make up the ids yourself...
or go the easy way and just change the names rates and image files for the pets and items you don't want to ones you do want
(this way you may still end up with other peoples bugs though)

try looking for another editor .... and or use a hex editor to read it.
mannequin probably is the closest thing to a clean source other than phdev which has absolutely nothing in it ... revo has a lot of the basic things added like the older pets and quests and whatnot .... chaos/mortalqueen has a million things added to it a lot of which are duplicates.
rainbow would be the one to use if u want the vampire class already added but has a lot of its own bugs too

here is a similar thread to the one you posted with answers from someone else

The version 2 sneak peek itemtype editor will open the old version up to the first six versions of the itemtype files. It won't allow you to edit/save the file but it will let you to view information and even filter out certain ids.
