mysql red light of death

i have a problem with mysql which ive never had before on an xp computer. it shows the red light. ive tried deleting my.ini and rebooting. i dont have port 3306 open yet if that matters? theres no anti virus or firewall.

i have used the search all that comes up is stuff for windows 7.

maybe you should launch all .exe in your mysql folder ...

If you have a bad version of wamp/xamp running ,it can cause conflict , as well as an error with your DB

you have no other choice but to use another back-up or replace ur db files with manq.full and when it works try ur db back . it works ...

and i guess your already familiar with hosting and fixing stuff , i still remember the old days
