I got a Problem last night i changed my Network to Private so i could share media files with my Xbox360 So i could listin to my music from my computer on my Xbox360 while i played Call of Duty 4. After i was finished i changed it back to Public and now i try to run my server and it keeps saying (Connect to account server) and i check all my Config files and even redid my Shell.dat 5 times. I dont know what it is but i don't think my Ports are open but i had them open and i even tryed reopening them , i went to my router and even my Firewall So i dont know So if anyone can tell me how to fix it i really appreciate it .

well most times this prob is about shell.dat...but it could be the prot numbers coz when u changed it to private it used different ports to connect with the xbox360...so try to open only the ports needed...

i went through all of that with him :P musta asked him to check his firewalls sooo many times
Go to the msg config.ini or shell.ini and change the account server ip in it to 127.0.0.1

I figured it out how to get it fixed , i had to restore my router to factory Defaults and then re add the ports in and i added 3 extra and it work thanks guys for all the help even known well it wasn't any that i didn't already know lol
