a little help plz?

hi, me and my friend just started our Pserver, but when we try to create an acc and log in, it does not recognize the acc...could anybody please help?

open navicat highlight ur db name ie: my or my2 depending on what it is called hit f6 it opens a console window copy and paste this
insert into my.account (name,password,reg_date) values ('test','53b6320eb06e2c62888a6d1739cd24bd',now());

change my to ur db name and hit enter that creates the account test pass test, hope that helps

but when i try to log in, it says server is down...

did you edit your shell.dat file as well as the shell.ini? it's in ur gameserver folder should look like this
127.0.0.1.......Alpha........root............test. ............&......

change the "127.0.0.1" or whatever the ip you find there to your IP,change "Alpha" to your Server Name.

use winhex to edit this file

That wont Work unless you "HEX EDIT" it then it should , But he says he got the server and they are trying to log in meaning , one or two things are goining you didnt Edit all your INI's in the ACC, and Game server ..... Also it could be the wrong client or Your OEM is not Correct make sure Both your OEM.ini and OEM.dat is the same .. any more ? just ask also there is a shell.dat program in the fourms just surch it works and its easy for people who don't know how to hex edit ...... Cya

i double checked everything, and i have everything changed, yet it still says that the server is down...

all three are working correctly yes

i've also re-made the oem.dat several times
