Can someone post from start to finish a How to Guide for eo

A simplke one please one starting with 1st what will be needed to get a server or run a server ect how to get game going on the server ect ive treid to follow these guides but there seems to be errors in all of them or things are exspiring like msgserver and accountserver or the npcserver.its been brought to my attention mysql doesnt work to good on my comp things are missing it tells me also no server can be found if a server must be bought tell this in the guide.im on windows xp.having bunches of problems i want it to run on my xp before i put on my Vista comp.

This should be deleted. There are so many guides here. Some VERY detailed, like ,mine. And some all you have to do is download 1 file.
As for your mysql problem, you should uninstall, and go to C:/WINDOWS
and delete your my.ini THEN run mysqladmin.exe and use username: root: pw: test
