You need a client that fits your DB most of the good ones are here:

As for your "red-Light" there can be a few issues:

1. Can be you need to run your mysqladmin.exe: right click>run as admin.
2. Your IP address in the config is incorrect open the mysqladmin and got to my ini file tab, and enter either the Hamachi IP or you External IP
3. Database is wrong
