Need help to make my account work!!!

i think ive got my server just about up but it keeps giving me an error message saying invalid account id or password. ive tried creating the account through the MySQL console but that doesnt work. the account ive tried is username:test, password:test what should i do

MySQL doesnt give me any errors. it just closes afterwards. btw does mysql and navicat need to be open to log in bcuz the server is open but not logging in with them open or closed

Are you sure that you are using the correct encryption for the password?


And also you should make sure that the account is actually in your account database.
