Hello. What are the things that someone should do if they want to host an EO PServer? Can you tell me the 'stages' on making it, please.
Something like, after setting the server, what should they buy to make it 24/7 online. And what kind of VPS is recommended to host the server, etc..

first step and this is the most important thing you can ever learn in making a private server,

LEARN TO USE THE SEARCH BUTTON

Secondly the next most important thing you can do is to read the release thread stickied in guides and releases.

I'd suggest trying to make a few events/quests of your own from scratch on a test server. Just doing this involving such things as multiple action types/items and NPCs can help you build a solid foundation for running an EO Private Server.
I'd suggest hitting "PowerChaos" up about VPS, he offers hosting to e*pvp members.

My advice would be the following.

1 - Get your server running successfully as a test server at first until you think you have enough knowledge to post it publicly

2 - Gather information and try new things like adding new pets, casuals and things along that nature.

3 - I agree with funhacker with his comment.

4 - A good vps that I have found that is very good is

5 - Gathering a good team of people you can trust.

6 - Have fun with it and treat your members right. By that I mean fair.

One question, is it possible IF I don't want to make any updates on my server and that means there will be no patch for my players to download. ..?

aslong as the client is the same as you're using then yes, but I'd not suggest that..

You wouldn't want to have your members having to download a new client every time you want to add something new would you? Patches are easy to make if that's what your worried about.

Ah I see, Well then that's another thing I would highly suggest updates other wise players will eventually get bored of the same old things.
