i can help you setting up a vps (basic setup with the files you provide me ) if you got a vps from
(send a support ticket)
basicly it is easyer to setup a vps then hamachi
but they are both the same
on hamachi you need to run hamachi and place the hamachi ip
on a vps you got a external ip that you just use
i woulnd suggest linux for 2 reasons
1) eudemons is not made for linux (it are exe files or use whine ? )
2) you need knowledge about linux to start with
so it would stay at a windows vps
the ram amount depends on your player amount , i would suggest to take 512 mb ram as it can handle a fair amount of users
256 mb ram is fine to if you got around 30 players , but then 512 is needed or there is a lot of lag

i can get it running on 256 mb ram with out a problem , it all depends how you setup your windows
i do not know where you got that info from , but i wanna bet that if i provide you 250GB data that you wont get over that limit
those things all depends on the amount of players and what you all do on the server
so if i was you i would recheck the spects again
