EO Server Development is at Risk!
Although the concept of the new legislation may seem pretty impossible due to the fact that alot of people will protest against it and that their aims in the whole idea of it are ridiculous, I find it somewhat concerning and I think its important to educate everyone.
Ill try to keep this as simple as possible. Basically the US government and the people incharge of basically "international law enforcement" want to make a new law that practically destroys the internet and it's actually being pushed to operate. This legislation (or "new law rule") will target anything that is considered "piracy" or any references to content that is considered "piracy".
So lets face it, pserver and pserver development is criminal considering we don't at all own the material we use in our servers. Which means our community is totally at risk of being shut down and each individual is also at risk. The law aims to target even those participating in piracy. In the last month a 23 year old was arrested for having a website related to piracy. He thought it would be okay because the content that was considered piracy was not hosted by him, he only posted links (references) to the illegal content. What does that mean for us? Lol.
Anyway, what are your thoughts on this? I'd like to hear them and its totally relative to eo pserver discussion say can you not lock this thread for once? Seriously...
