Secure your Private Server!

As more and more servers are getting hacked, I would like to teach you guyz how to secure your server, so no one can access it.

1.First, open your navicat.
2.Click on your connection.
3.Go to manage users.
4.Delete the user with %.[root@% and @%]
You have to delete any with % in it.
%means ip, deleting it would make no other IP access it, other than localhost.
5.Access to your DB by Connection Name:localhost, and your username and password.

Hope you have secured your server and no one can access to your DB or hack it hopefully.

Yes I no but that still if not unhackable. They can connect to you by ip and delete it when you dont know. Nothing can be unhackable. Its just about 90% secure. The other post on how to secure your server is the same.

Ok I guess, In the other post , it only changed the connection settings, UserName and PassWord, In this post, it will be non-accessable by any other Ip, which means no one can access it, but of TQ, in the other post, they will figure out the Username and password and log in, But it will be more secure when you do both of the things on the 2posts about securing.

Ye because the other one has the normal user nad Pass and if u changed it its still hackable but with this its better. So If they were both done it would be very good secured server.

Thats not true the thread I Posted on my official thread is his and it works. It just makes it harder for the hacker to hack. If you were a hacker in his shoes you would go for iPs or any local iP leading to him. So This guide is good but the other guide is good because some hackers would go just try to login. They would use the simPle user and Pass but it wont be simPle.

The other way is a sql injection but it shouldn't work if you have the lastest navicat or mysql software what you use .
