Virtualbox and eopserver

Hello, i have a question regarding Virutualbox and eopserver.

I want to let the server side programs run virtually.

And I want to log on my main system in the game. However, since I have problems logging.

Client say always the server is in maintenance or problem with network,.....

The server side, everything works (GamServer, NPC)

I have no experience with Hamachi, i think only adjust the ip and this was it.

Do I have to share any ports in the modem / router, even though I will only use it local?

I WILL only running the gameserver and client between HOST (my pc) and GUEST (Virualbox)

Make sure you have the Virtual pc's ip in the config settings. And remember to change you OEM's to the same ip.

first you need to setup the virtual box that it can have internet on it (so you got a outgoing connection , not a shared connection)

as soon you know how to set it up and got internet on the virtual box then we can start

just use teh assigned up ( it should be a differend ip , your computer = 192.168.1.5 and Vbox = 192.168.1.50 for example

just assign that ip into the config files and you are ready to go
