Bad parts about hosting Server non hamachi?

I wanna know if there are any downsides to hosting the server off of my computer i have everything set except the site but i wanna know before i open the server if there are any bad parts to hosting it :P

hamachi servers laggs badly thats all , get a vps

depends i have over 100people logged into my hamachi and still no lag but people just hate it b/c u need a program to run your server thats the main downside

oh ok well my pc can handle running and im running it through a virtual pc cuz i dont want my ram to be eaten up too much from the accserver and npserver and all that lols so yeah just wanted to know other downsides about it
