I am wondering what I have done wrong and if anyone can point it out for me.
Firstly im trying to add numerous amount of items including gear pets and casuals but my test is just 1 casual, a modified version of obsidianmail.
Firstly what I done was make a new texture for it, gave it the name 001190600.dds [190600 is the id in the server itemtype original id for obimail is 1190400] I then copied past and renamed the .c3 in mesh folder of the client for the obimail. Then added it to the cq_itemtype and cq_goods, I then went ahead and edited the clients itemtype.dat by copying and pasting [by increasing the file size] the hex for obimail and changing its id to 190600, I didnt bother making mapitem icons or invent item icons for it as i know u dont need them for it to work, I am curious as to if I have missed any other client sided file.
side note I know i have the item in my inventory as it says so in cq_item problem is it isnt seeing it on the client is their some kind of id range i have to edit on the soul.exe or somewhere else for it to be read?...
