OK now for making a patch
i will use my newest patch to do this (which is adding a new login screen)
step 1:

make a folder with the patch number as the name(makes it easy)
step 2:

make the directory's you are going to update and put the version.dat in as well
step 3:
open the version.dat in notepad
step 4:
put the number up by 1 and save
step 5:

add the sub directory's
step 6:

add the files you are wanting to update
step 7:

select all the files in the folder and right client then go add to archive...
step 8:
check that it is set out like this then click OK
step 9:
open the newly added rar and click SFX
step 10:
click Advanced SFX options
step 11:
check the settings are like this under then General tab
step 12:
check the settings under the Modes tab
step 13:
check the settings under the Update tab
step 14:
check the settings under the text and icon tab < this is optional and is not needed
Step 15:
if this is the first time setting up a patch i suggest you click the Save Current Settings as default so that you dont need to set this all up over and over again
step 16:
click OK and OK again then close win rar

before doing that make a folder with ur client's name .
and add . ani then put the file u want to add
data and put the file u want to add
but now winrar them Both with the steps up there . and then when u open the patch it will load the files u added at ani and data do that for pets and mounts and ur done .
finished , did u realize yet how easy it was ..
for who think im spamming here im not , and i dont need post counts and im sure others would find this veery small part extremely helpful .
