For example
it should NOT be a laggy server( non hamachi or a vps doesn't matter)

It should stay online more than 2 months

the db used must be an improved one that has his own addons ( judges job ).

Server must be online 22h + a day.

A website that is online all the time.

That's fair I think, it will put an end for whats going here..
Well How you like my stupid idea ??
and where is the line of "wise man" and "newbie" ?

I don't honestly see how this would work. Sure most of us who have been around for a while hate seeing all these new servers pop up just to go down within a couple weeks, But I don't see how it would stop people from starting them.

Take a look at our Release/Guides section for example, it states no questions, yet people still ask questions and post irrelevant stuff in there. What I would like to see is a list of servers offered to members of this section, that show servers who have done some of the following:

1. Been up for a while.
2. Added their own features to make their server different.
3. Have a constant player base.

well i meant with this approved servers list, newbie servers forced to choose between closing the server or work hard until they get approved.. so ppl who arent serious will choose to close..
fine what is the main propose of this list ?

The list would fit pretty much what everyone else is saying. The main purpose would be to show the longest lasting servers, as well as the server owners who have actually done some work on the server, instead of just downloading the server files and releasing a server to the public.

People will join a good quality of Server. many server i seen drop many EP/easy compose and many more.mybe its booring to my opinion. I play Real eudemons server bcause its hard, thats is the best server. for private server,I suggest money be a main of server, then make NPC trade money to EPs. thats is real best for Private.you also can make money with your own way.conclusion, your server must be different than other.

Private server people will play:
1.medium rate.
2.no bugs.
3.new updates.
4.your own quest. <-- this is main of your server. The best quest maker can have many ppl play their server.

sorry for bad eng.

You can host a game with a dynamic IP address, if you had wisdom of what you are doing. I know you have to start somewhere and learn, but at least take effort TO learn, instead of saying "Look, I have a server, come play!", but not taking time to set it up properly.

If it's a private project that's one thing, but don't expect fans if you think you can just set it and forget it, like a bad infomercial.

If you can't even have a good enough connection to have a static IP, and need to use Hamachi, chances are you don't have descent enough bandwidth to host a Public Private Server.
Even with enough bandwidth, you're going to have trouble getting a descent site, especially getting rankings up.

so just to let u know dont bash hamachi users until u get the full story sure some people dont know how to use port forwarding so they do use hamachi whitch they shld look up everything about running servers b4 they do it
Look up everything about servers? Did you, when once again, you never looked into how to host a server with a dynamic address?

And all you have been doing is justifying the flaws with your server.
The point that was being made here with this whole topic is "most private servers don't have what it takes to be good", not "sub-standard servers have reasons not to be".

I'm not trying to bash, and even if you can't set it up regular, it still falls into "not as good as others". And a server can only be good if learning and time is available by the admin of the server.

I could have very easily said "Look my server is up" early on, but instead decided to learn more of what I'm doing.
Instead of saying "I can't do this", I LEARNED HOW to set up a dedicated server machine, get DNS forwarding, and everything.

Even that is STILL not good enough to make a good server though, but you haven't even gone past using Hamachi. Again, even if there's a reason, doesn't make it a better server.

And instead of complaining and arguing about a flaw, or how something doesn't work, you should apologize about it, and look into a fix or workaround. Not thrash out at someone who gives constructive criticism, or explains flaws FOR you.

PS: Not trying to sound mean, but a little help so you sound more professional: use proper spelling.
Which: What you meant to say.
Witch: Sorceress, female mage.
Whitch: Not a word.

Take what I said, or leave it: it was meant to help, not insult, or I could have used much worse methods.
