1) You probably have the mount id set to that of the saints but instead of the 1071abc you used 1072abc.
2) There is a config column in monstertype or itemtype (i can't remember) but it's ai type or something similar. You need to change that column to the mage or warrior value not mount.
3) What's wrong with contest?
