Server.dat Encryption?

u seem to have come far in encrypting and decrypting the dat files..
can u please try to decrypt the shop.dat file?

i want to add my own stuff into that file

i figured out u can use that in your normal eo game as well O.o

editing it client side would not make you able to buy things from official servers... the actual shop data is server side.... 99.9 pct sure.


If anyone would be able to make a LevelExp.dat, MonsterType.Dat and ItemType.Dat decrypter that would be great...

Those are most of what you would need to edit for new things... Does anyone know if its same encryption for all the client side .dat files? if so that would be sweet if someone was able to make a program to decrypt and re-encrypt them.

only prices is in server.. and there is a flag in the database as well called monopoly in the cq_itemtype table.. value 28 seems to be shoppingmall flag.. but im not sure..
the xos u can buy from oltgroom has another value in that column

so basically.. if u add it to the shop.dat and change monopoly to 28 u should be able to buy it from shoppingmall.. (i want to add 6,8,12,19 star xos and specialexpballs,rebspheres and luckpotions)

there is no other table containing anything about shoppingmall or prices of items except itemtype table

there is also a column called something like maxbuytimes.. 12,19 star xo has 1 in that column so increasing it would let you buy more than one/day

dont be too sure that its serverbased only.. i think its a mix

first string is Cities, then one byte, then some nulls, then London, again London, then ip.. etc

Here's a completely functioning (I think) program to decrypt and encrypt the server.dat.

Do not edit your server.dat without backing it up and knowing what the hell you're doing.

Fixed his tool with a better decrypting (his tool missed a few values)
